Rumour has it...

There is talk of Thirri Thirri Connecting the Dots visiting Dungog...

Is this another plan to connect our community with another, to create something incredible for the wider community?

Yes! In fact, we heard of Dungog Bison and Horse Training's homecoming after their trip to 2024's Sydney Royal Easter Show, where 6 month old Bison, Banjo, was the star, and we had to see what the fuss was all about!

There is more than meets the eye to these beautiful animals. We have alot to learn from the animals that we co-exist with, and a lot to gain when spending time connecting with our beautiful country.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity for a workshop!

The Bison and You

Almost driven to extinction in the 19th century the bison remains a symbol of survival, strength, power, stability, resilience, and achievement. Observe Georgia and Kendal interacting with these formidable and majestic animals in an environment of respect, trust, and genuine care as you embrace Life Lessons from the Bison….

Live To the Fullest

Not everyone has the option of watching a herd of bison in natural surroundings. You do!

Be In the Moment

They may not be the most playful of animals, but they are both graceful, and powerful. Whether they’re running around or just calmly grazing they are truly captivating to watch.

Go With the Flow

What’s truly remarkable about the bison is its ability to adapt to changing circumstances. They endure brutal conditions and can withstand blizzards and tornadoes without becoming distressed. That ability to act and adapt as needed is one that applies in all walks of life.

Never Give Up

Once hunted to the brink of extinction they have made a remarkable comeback. There are now numerous wild bison herds scattered throughout several U.S. states. That perseverance is something we can all take to heart.

Eat your Greens

We all know that veggies are good for us. Bison are a wonderful example of the importance of eating a proper diet!

Explore

Bison are continually on the move. Take the time to explore new experiences, new places, and new foods!

Have Fun

Whilst they may look imposing that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy themselves. Just like people, they like to play in the snow, relax in the sun, and hang out with their friends.
